yogi_Compute Total Credit For Customers From Table Of Name Credit And Date In Another Tab

Total of multiple value
I have a list of credits due to clients on one TAB, I want to have a Tab with a summary adding all credits due to clients as a total.

Name              Total Credit
Mr Smith
Mr Brown
Mr Green 

In Tab One

Customer             credit   due date
Mr Smith                -1.98    1/2/2014
Mr Smith                -10.5    1/2/2014

In TAB Two

The dates are irrelevant, I just want a total of all credits due to show in TAB one, I have tried a Vlookup; however that only returns the first value, I need all as a total.
