Filtering with multiple criteria
Hi there,
Tanks in advance for any help.

I'm trying to create a filtered version of a database, with multiple conditions.

The thing is, not all the entries of my database necessarily have all its fields filled. When a cell is empty, the entire entry stays off the filter, even if it meets all the criteria.
What I'm trying to do is what the D-functions do well: when I create a criteria array, the blank cells are ignored, as if there's no condition for that field.

Here is an example document I created:

The first sheet is the data itself.
The second one is the filter I'm trying to create.
The third one is an example, using a D-function: I want to do exactly what I did with this DCOUNT function, only that I don't want just the number of entries, but the whole entries themselves.

Hope someone can help me.

Cheers -- Tiago

I don't think it is a question regarding Filtering With Multiple Criteria ... it has to do with customizing the use of FILTER function so that no parameter selection (leaving it blank) means all values for that parameter
