Trying to make a timeclock
Trying to make a timeclock
Hi I am trying to create a simple time clock. I'd appreciate some help.
Please view my shared sheet at https://docs.google.com/ spreadsheet/ccc?key= 0AnkVRC1UPDUGdDRqMEdSdHNLaWlhU G12amRKN0o2Qmc&usp=sharing
In this sheet, I am able to do this with basic formula's in excel, but can't figure out how to do it in Google using a form. I'd appreciate any help. Ultimate goal would be to get an end of day total of hours worked and an end of week.
thanks,
Brandon

please note
this layout is very error prone -- because
every person filling the FORM must submit
the FORM 4 times at 1) Punch In,
2) Lunch, 3) Lunch In, 4) Punch Out
and in your layout requiring all 4 entries must be successive entries for the same person -- this is a serious limitation and will definitely cause problems
in any event, following is a solution to the problem with your layout depicted in your post
