How to count data in multiple colums?
I'm trying to find a formula to count data in multiple columns .  See example below.  

Name  Connection Type Disconnect Date

Anne         12 Month AP         5/24/2013

Jon          None

Fred          None

Jane          6 Month DD

Jack          None

Sue          12 Month AP          3/4/2013

Jim          None

Eric          12 Month AP

Bill          6 Month DD           4/25/2013

Ali          6 Month DD

Ray          12 Month AP

Frank 12 Month AP            5/1/2013

Julia          12 Month AP

Problem:

How to count total disconnects by connection type, like the manual example below

Total of 12 Month AP disconnects = 3

Total of 12 Month AP disconnects = 1

Could you let me know what formula to do this please?  Is it an array with countif?
