if, then maybe lookup function (not sure)
I have a vertical check in/out list in google spreadsheets. it consists of name (merge and center of 3 cells), date out, date supposed to be back (date out + 90 days), and date back in.

I have a vertical check in/out list in google spreadsheets. it consists of name (merge and center of 3 cells), date out, date supposed to be back (date out + 90 days), and date back in.
i want the top 2 rows to always display the person/dates associated with the lastest check in/out (HIGHLIGHTED YELLOW)
so i need it to display the latest (furthest down) name/date automatically, essentially look for the last (furthest down) cell with text and a date in it and display it in the top highlighted cells...
DOES ANY OF THIS MAKE SENSE TO ANYONE??
---
1) So I need cell B6 (merged and centered to display "TEST B" which is what is in cell B14. I need B6 to always display the last merged and centered cell going from top to bottom.
2) I also need B7 to display the furthest down non merged and centered DATE in column B so in the current sheet, I would need it to say 12/22/12.
3) The same thing is what I need for cell D7, the furthest down date in column D.
Does this make sense? If there is no work around, and I HAVE to reformat the sheet, I can. I would just need to know to format so that this is possible. THANKS!
