Apply RANDBETWEEN function to all cells in a column of Google Spreadsheet
Hi!
I'm trying to learn form creation using Google Docs and have managed to prepare a Performance Tracker form linked to the spreadsheet (https://docs.google.com/ spreadsheet/ccc?key= 0AvacgGeP87D9dDNwWVJtMDkxVGVib 3pRVkhMNURqb3c&pli=1#gid=0).
The last column (Task ID) should auto-feed the function =RANDBETWEEN(1000,9999) to each row being populated by the data pushed to the spreadsheet by the form.
Would really need help on:
1. The steps to be followed to make this possible.
2. Does RANDBETWEEN create duplicate numbers before exhausting the limit? If so, how can it the formula be configured not to duplicate values?
Thanks in advance!!!
PS; I have programming background in C++ only so would need some clarity about functionality of Google scripts which could be used in this case presented.
