I'd like to get MIN and MAX values for a column
Hi all,
Using Firefox v21. Ahab replied to a query from user Paqman who wanted to know how to highlight a MAX value with a colour (qv: http://productforums.google. com/forum/#!topic/docs/ BiTsV7K--X0). That works excellently, but I'd like to highlight both MAX and MIN values and I've had no luck doing it, can anyone help?
Also, there's a value out of the norm in my column that I'd like to exclude. For the sake of argument, imagine the column concerned is like this (my actual situation is a little more complex):
A B
1 $3500 €2400
2 $3500 €2359
3 $3500 €2412
4 $3500 €2612
5 $5000 €4000
6 $3500 €2506
7 $3500 €2601
8 $3500 €2425
B2 will represent the worst exchange. Forcibly B5 will be the highest value, but it's because A5 is higher than normal so I'd like to not include A5 in the possible MAX calculations. I tried changing the range to exclude that cell, but that caused problems with the True/False calc in the second column.
Could anyone please help?
Thanks in advance...
B
