I have a problem with SUMIF() because the sum_range includes numbers as well as "//". Anybody can help?

Hi Kishan,

Thank you for your help. Could you please give me an example in this file: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0At9wLhzVmNbEdFhWYVl5TE9veUJBRTd6RllxWXMwamc&usp=sharing ?

In the file, I'm trying to sum the range C4:E15 which contain "General" text.

I'm looking forward to your feedback.

Thanks,
Thao

Thanks, Kishan. The formula works well on Google Spreadsheet, but it's a pity, it doesn't work on MS Excel. It seems the Filter() doesn't exist in MS Excel. Could you please adapt it soon?

Thanks,
Thao
