Keeping Track of transactions with Google forms
Hello,
I have a register form that I use for business transactions. The form asks for simple information, name, contact info etc. In addition it asks the employee to enter a purchase amount or a sale amount. I created an additional column on the right side of the form submissions in order to keep a running balance of our register... if its a purchase, the amount should be subtracted from the balance, if its a sale, the amount should be added to the balance. This works great when you manually pull down the balance formula after the form has been submitted, but since the form creates an additional row when a submission is made, the formula doesn't carry over the the newly created row. Is there a way to for me to incorporate a formula into the spreadsheet so that every-time a form is submitted, the formula in the balance column automatically carries down one more row? Thanks in advance!
Rob
