I need to plot a chart from a column filled with hh:mm data. Google Spreasheets says data not valid. Works fine with plain numbers. Works ok in Excel, see desired outcome here:

What I have noticed is that even though it complains about the data being in hh:mm, if you continue, it does plot the data anyway -- however for the minimum and maximum values on the vertical scale, it did not honor the minimum and maximum values specified in hh:mm
