    hi thanks for you help, sorry io am rubbish with spreadsheets. I dont understand how to use the solution.

    I am trying to creat a database of jobs cleaned and then a next clean date which could be printed out or viewed on gdoc.

    plan was to input from a google form once spreadsheet is sorted.

    any help would be greatly accepted

    Hi Jamie:

    I suggest you create a Form and input jobs via the Form ... make all the data including job numbers realistic, then share your spreadsheet with me along with your expected result and the needed logic/explanation as to why that is the correct result -- and then let us take it from there.

    Hi Jamie:

    You should share the spreadsheet in which you have created the Form (not just the Form only) and make sure it has realistic real world data and also show us your expected result along with needed logic/explanation as to why that is the correct result. If you share your spreadsheet in Google Help Forum so that anyone with the link can access your spreadsheet, not only me but other viewers will also have a chance to look at what you are trying to do and help out.

    There are two main issues.
    1/ as per this form i need to collect the information of a nw customer and list it for future cleans.
    2/ Then i would like to produce a report from the list of the next clean date. the problem is that i would like to be able to use the information already gathered ie name amount and just log the cleaning date and payment type.

    Hi Jamie:

    You have shared your spreadsheet with only 2 rows of data. Now tell us what is your expected result ...
    1) what?
    2) where in the same sheet? or in another sheet?
    3) in which cell?
    and
    needed logic/explanation as to why that is the correct result.
